Hi There!

I am a Clinical Nutritionist, Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition®, and Women’s Health Educator based in San Francisco, CA. I am available for phone and virtual consultations throughout the world.

I specialize in digestive wellness including IBS, SIBO, GERD, food sensitivities, and gut dysbiosis plus women’s health challenges such as endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, hormone balancing, and prenatal nutrition.

Like many of us in the nutrition field, I have had my own health struggles, including being diagnosed with IBS and endometriosis. With nutrition and lifestyle changes, I have found healing from these conditions. This spurred my passion for holistic approaches to health and wellness.

After graduating from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education/Women’s Health, I earned my credentials as a Certified Nutrition Educator from Bauman College. I then had the privilege of working at the Shanti Project, one of San Francisco’s oldest caregiving nonprofits for people with cancer and HIV/AIDS.

It was during my seven years at Shanti, I discovered my passion for supporting people in making important and, sometimes, life-saving health enhancements through nutrition. In anticipation of starting my own nutrition counseling practice, I left Shanti to earn my Masters in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. This program focused on nutrition from a functional medicine paradigm and provided clinically effective and evidence-based strategies for me to put into practice.

Kind Words From Our Clients

I had suffered with endometriosis for over 10 years, and a friend of mine told me to contact Stacy. I was missing work and my social life was severely affected from the pain, fatigue, moodiness, and, honestly, the low self esteem that I was constantly dealing with. I looked and felt awful. Stacy was a breath of fresh air. Pain medicine, birth control pills, and a surgery were not able to accomplish what I gained from her through her program.

Kind Words From Our Clients

I was initially skeptical, but now I highly recommend Stacy Roy to anyone who wants to make a serious life change. Her approach is more than just about losing weight. She focuses on overall health, and this approach leads to results that are attainable. I lost 30 pounds since I started seeing her. Not only have I been able to keep the weight off, but my energy has skyrocketed!

Kind Words From Our Clients

I am one of those stubborn people who take a long time to get everything, and Stacy was so patient and non-judgmental with me and walked me through everything. PCOS is a nightmare!! I actually fought Stacy’s suggestions for a while, and then after one particularly bad week I decided to fully listen to her and try all of her suggestions. I am down 14 pounds in our 2 months and I am no longer depending on coffee to get me through the day. I feel motivated and encouraged and am so glad for Stacy!

Get to Know Me

My passion for healing people through nutrition flourished while I worked at one of the world’s very first HIV/AIDS support organizations, San Francisco’s Shanti Project. At that time, I met one of Shanti’s volunteers, who would later end up being my husband!

In my 20s, I spent time in the rainforest of Belize learning about traditional Mayan healing.

My favorite vacation found me living in a camper van for nearly a month with my best friend’s family as we trekked through the Black Sea coast of Turkey.

I knew my partnership with Sara was meant to be when I realized we each had a cat named Sushi! What are the odds of that??
